Steven Scott was born in Newport, Gwent and studied at Gwent College of Higher Education, Trent Polytechnic Nottingham, and Middlesex University London.

He is currently studying an MPhil/PhD by project at the Royal College of Art, London. He exhibits internationally, most recently in Kuwait and Brazil, as well as Berlin, Antwerp and London.
